Queensland, the Sunshine State, should roll out solar car parks in order to generate more and sustainable power, as per industry experts. It will be the first of its kind in Australia and will act as an influential precedent for others to follow across the country. It makes sense that shopping centres have solar power systems fitted on their car parking lots so that they can generate their own electricity. This will not only save them huge amounts of money but also provide a covered and shaded area for the visitors’ / customer’s vehicles.
For Queensland, it would translate to making it a leader in innovating with renewable and clean energy. Renewable energy is gaining ground fast and now able to generate more job and trade opportunities – benefiting the country and its citizens. This in turn is helping the world to fight the relentless and hazardous global warming and every successful attempt will take the world closer to a cleaner and greener environment.
